About the 2007 Mustang GT and ProCharger Supercharger

The 2007 Mustang GT is a standard 5-speed manual and gets 300 horsepower, 320 lb-ft torque, rear-wheel drive, a sub-14-second quarter-mile time, and an easily disengaged traction-control system.

Ford didn’t change too much when developing this pony car since the Mustang is one of its all-time bestsellers. With a 4.6-liter modular V-8, it generates tons of power and torque on the cheap. Using their live-axle design, Ford attached the solid axle to a chassis rigid enough to make a truly responsive handler. This Mustang combines good looks and power in a way that not too many companies have been able to match.

With the addition of a self-contained (SC) ProCharger supercharger, the Mustang GT 2007 boasts superior internal lubrication while remaining street legal.  ProCharger models are the first and only gear-driven centrifugal superchargers to feature self-lubrication, and contain the industry’s most advanced technology.

By combining advanced supercharger transmission design with high quality synthetic oil, SC ProChargers produce a larger net power gain since they run cooler and use less power than comparable oil-fed designs. The SC design has a custom oil pump that aerates the oil to create the oil mist lubrication required for the ProCharger’s precision bearings and gears. SC ProChargers produce the least frictional heat and parasitic load, making it so oil changes are required only every 6,000 miles.

Power Upgrade Update, August 29, 2017

The motor is a Fully Machined and Race Prepped Romeo iron Block with ARP Main Studs, Eagle Forged 4340 8 Bolt Crankshaft, K1 Forged 4340 H-Beam Rods with ARP 2000 Rod Bolts and Wiseco Pistons. The procharger is a D1-SC with a 10psi pulley. I am getting the 2007 Mustang GT returned next week with a 16psi pulley. I will update with HP after the dyno.
