Story: Driving to work every day in my supercharged 1992 Mustang was getting old, especially since the clutch was set for “kill” and the temperatures were upwards in the triple digits. Since I removed my A/C years ago… “it never gets THAT hot in California” wasn’t the saying anymore, so I opted to buy a new Ford for driving to work. The Focus ST seemed like the best of performance and reliability. Fords very first submission to the Global Performance vehicle market, which means this same vehicle is available around the world. With 22/32mpg mileage and plenty of HP from the 2.0L Ecoboost Turbo, this seemed like a no-brainer. I torture tested The Focus and Fiesta ST at an EcoBoost Challenge at the Rose Bowl parking lot and it impressed me so much I had to get one for myself.
