About Ferrari Italia 458

If it wasn’t enough that Ferrari made the awesome 458 Italia, this demon of speed is also available in a convertible counterpart called the 458 Spider, which was rolled out in 2011, two years after the coupe model. The 458 Italia is fully equipped with a 562-hp V-8, and a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission and is ready to match speed with almost any car on the road.

If that really isn’t enough, you may want to check out the exclusive 458 Speciale A with a whopping 597 hp. Since the “A” stands for aperta (meaning “open” in Italian), don’t be surprised by the aluminum lid that retracts/raises in under 15 seconds.  Although the lid carries some additional weight, Ferrari still estimates that the car will soar to 62 mph in three seconds flat.

When it comes to Ferrari’s performance, it’s simply hard to beat the F1-Trac traction control, E-diff electronically activated locking differential, and carbon ceramic braking, so Ferrari put some extra magic into the interior just to add a little icing on the cake. The attention to detail in the 458’s interior is what makes Ferrari the luxury master craftsmen that they are so well known for.
